Throughout my time as a management trainee, everyone I worked or interacted with was really welcoming and supportive.
I travelled to many different cities, and each one was like a new chapter in my work story. Whether it was a big city or a small town, every place had its own challenges and things to celebrate.
Travelling wasn’t just about work; it was also a chance to experience different cultures. Each city had its own unique things to offer, from the way people did business to the delicious local food. My suitcase became a holder of not just work stuff but also memories of the people I met and the places I visited. Even though it was sometimes challenging being on the road so much, the joy of discovering new places and connecting with people made it an important part of my journey.
In the end, every mile I travelled was like a step in my adventure, turning my work experience into a colourful map of memories.
I see my time here as a journey of growth, both in my career and as an individual, and I'm enthusiastic about the support and opportunities the company provides for both aspects of my life.

My initial impression of PVMI was remarkably positive - a welcoming atmosphere that fostered a sense of belonging. The emphasis on learning and growth was evident through the supportive environment provided by everyone at the company, encouraging me to develop my skills and pursue professional advancement.
In my six-month FMCG BOLT journey, I navigated diverse roles across cities— starting with an orientation at the corporate headquarters. Transitioning to a major sales hub like Lucknow, I immersed myself in market dynamics as I worked with the DBSR to understand working in a GOTM market. Soon, I explored more parts of the UP by working with the PSR & SSR and understanding the intricacies of the rural and ROU market. Soon, I moved to Jodhpur, which was a different playground altogether because of the difference in culture, market, and ways of working.
During my guided DSE stint, I learned about the management of teams along with the consistent tracking of data with reports and follow-ups. During this stint, I also traveled a lot and learned the skill of journey planning in a different way than I did before. For my independent DSE stint, I moved to Bareilly, wherein I understood the accountability, responsibility, and pressure of handling an area and its business.
Soon, I moved back near my home in Delhi, where I learned about Modern Trade working and how it is different from the general trade that I had been learning so far. With the South branch in Bangalore as my next stint, I understood how the Sales Development team and Trade Marketing team work in tandem with the sales force to ensure smooth working along with the growth of the company. Finally, I started my guided ASM stint in Vijayawada, where I saw things from an ASM’s perspective. How to manage people and territories on both micro and macro levels. Mentorship and feedback throughout molded me into an adaptable professional with a holistic
understanding of FMCG management.
